NEXT GRAFTON STORE CATTLE SALE - THURSDAY 20TH JULY, 2017
Grafton Store Sale Market Report
Thursday 15th June 2017
There was a good yarding of 940 head at Grafton’s monthly Store Cattle sale, made up mainly of Grower Steers, Weaner Steers and Heifers, although there was a good run of PTIC Cows.
Quality was mixed, with a large percentage of the yarding showing signs of the recent cold and wet weather, however all descriptions met strong competition, selling firm to slightly dearer than last month’s sale.
Good quality Females certainly hit some high notes, with PTIC F1 Heifers reaching over $1900, and Cows the same breed PTIC made over $1800.
Most of the young Cattle went out of the area, whilst the good Females stayed on the coastal fringe.
